This 865,000ft² Distribution Centre is built on an 87 acre site, which was formerly the Manton Colliery, and has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The high‐bay warehouse has an automated sortation system, that operates unmanned, in complete darkness.
TREND automatic controls for the 865,000ft² warehouse operate seven High Velocity Air Handling Units, providing winter frost‐protection and summer ventilation.
The 50,000ft² Office Block has BMS control of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning , and services for a gym, full catering canteen and comprehensive welfare facilities.
A fully integrated electrical system provides efficient Warehouse lighting controls and an intelligent metering system gives comprehensive energy reporting at the Supervisor PC , that includes Harmonic Analysis.
