This six‐floor civic building provides Corby with a 445‐seat Theatre, Library, Rooftop Restaurant, Council Chamber, Registry Office and a Roof Garden.
The Trend Building Energy Management System controlsall of the heating and ventilation systems including over 60 zones, most of which have natural ventilation driven by air quality sensors.
The Theatre is served by packaged Air Handling Units integrated with the BMS via Modbus communications. This in conjunction with zoning dampers allows flexible ventilation of the space to suit the occupancy level.
The entire system is monitored by a PC running Trend 963 Supervisory Software which provides user adjustment, alarm handling and energy consumption analysis.
