Derby’s iconic Multi-Sports Arena is one of the UK’s first Olympic legacy projects.
The futuristic 14,500m2 facility built next to Pride Park Stadium includes a national standard 250m indoor cycling track, a sports infield the size of 12 badminton courts and a fitness centre.
IBMS installed the TREND Building Energy Management System which operates all of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The controlled plant includes boilers, CHP, chillers and eleven Air Handling Units.
All of the plant, along with nearly 100 utility meters, is monitored by a Supervisor PC.
